Celebrating Small Wins:
My Journey as a Content Creator

Iâve been thinking a lot about the journey of being a content creator and entrepreneur, and the importance of celebrating small victories along the way. As someone who tends to be skeptical about the impact of tiny wins, I wanted to share some insights and personal experiences that have truly transformed my approach to work and life.
You know, itâs so easy to get caught up in the big picture and forget to acknowledge the small steps we take each day. But I've realized that these tiny triumphs are what keep us moving forward, especially when the going gets tough. In my journey of rebuilding and evolving the Healing In HindsightÂŽ brand, recognizing and celebrating these small victories has been crucial.

đŹ Behind the Scenes at 'Is There Room For Me?â˘'
Celebrating small wins isnât just about feeling good in the moment; itâs about building momentum and keeping motivation high. I used to think that only the big achievements mattered, but Iâve come to see that each tiny step forward is a building block towards larger goals. Itâs these small wins that help us stay positive and resilient.
One article that resonated with me on this topic is âThe Power of Small Winsâ by Harvard Business Review. It talks about how small wins can trigger a positive cycle of motivation and improvement. You can check it out here. It really emphasizes the psychological benefits of recognizing our daily progress.

There was a time when I hit a major burnout. I was so focused on the big goals that I neglected to see the progress I was making every day. It wasnât until I HAD to go back to work that I realized how much I had accomplished. I was so weighed down by everything I wasnât doing I failed to see anything else. Each small task completed, each tiny hurdle overcome, was a step forward. This realization was a game-changer for me. It taught me to celebrate and use those moments as fuel to keep going.
I used to dismiss small victories as insignificant. I always saw what was still left to do. But then I started getting collaborations and even paid sponsorshipsâall during a time where I wasnât ACTIVE with my podcast at all. It was because I had laid the ground work. It was because of the little things that I thought didnât matter.
I started to receive visual reminders that what I was doing mattered.
I realized that sometimes I needed visuals to help me see all that I had done. This led to me keeping a junk journal to keep all my tasks down in. I would then put them on my whiteboard in my office. When I do coworking streams, I have a list there too. Thereâs something about checking those off that does something for me. I do my best to keep them around me as much as possible so I can see that I truly did something.
